Dream Fitted Furniture

Housing market turns the corner - August 2009

According to the Royal Chartered Institute of Surveyors (RICS) the Scottish housing market seems to have reached a turning point with prices now on the rise.

The confidence levels of surveyors rose in July with 61% suspecting the prices to rise over the next 3 months. This is the highest the confidence levels have reached since February 2008.

In London the 67% of surveyors thought house prices would increase over the next three months.

A rise in house prices is welcome news to many home owners who have saw their assets depreciate by up to 30% over the last two years.

Improve Your House statistics reveal enquiries for fitted wardrobes and sliding mirror doors has increased by 12% in the last 3 months compared to the start of the year.

We expect that the low interest rate for mortgages means consumers have a little extra money to treat themselves. Consumer confidence is steadily resuming and people want to invest in their property to regain its market value.

One way to improve market value in your house is to create fitted mirror wardrobes. They are a sign of quality with each wardrobe being given a 10 year guarantee.
